Please support the St. Pius School Library!
St. Pius School is committed to strengthening a culture for reading across the campus. Our goal is to provide students access to literature that relevant and that will spark their interest in reading. Our new Library program provides students from K-8 the tools and skills, as well as the space, to select appropriate level reading books, and engage in library studies, including finding appropriate level reading books, referencing texts, and research.
The school library welcomes book donations from students and parents to enhance our library collection. We are currently in great need of new contemporary fiction that today's students want to read, e.g. (Graphic Novels) and non-fiction (informative texts). If you own any of the items on our “Wish List” and would like to give them a new home, simply drop them off in the school library slot in the front office. If you’d like to purchase a new or gently used book for the library, you can follow the steps below.
To access the St. Pius School Library’s Wish List simply follow these steps:
This list represents a selection of titles that are currently popular with children across the country and many are several years old and therefore more likely to be sitting on your shelves unused. It is certainly not all-inclusive! If you have other books that you believe would be a good addition to the library, please feel free to e-mail [email protected]. Not all books are suitable for a school library, so all donations will be reviewed and considered for appropriateness.
Please note: Books that are in poor physical condition will not be added to the library collection.
MANY THANKS!
Please email our school librarian, Miss Vittoria Borgo, at [email protected] with any questions.
