Registration for Volleyball, Baseball & Cheerleading
Let's get ready to Sham-ROCK next year! Registration is open for next year's 4th-8th graders to sign up for Volleyball & Baseball. Soon-to-be 7th & 8th graders are encouraged to sign up for Cheerleading. Registration forms need to be turned in to the School or Parish Office by May 31st! Fees for volleyball and baseball are $100; if there is a concern please speak with the pastor or principal. The season will start in August and wrap up early November.

Coaches
We are also accepting registration forms for Coaches! In order for the kids to start practicing in August, we need to have coaches in place and certified. For baseball, 3 coaches per team is best and 2 coaches per team in volleyball. Last year we had some of our alumni returning from high school to coach the kids. Extremely rewarding experiences await you.

Philosophy
The philosophy of the St. Pius Parish Athletic Program is to encourage the physical and emotional growth of St. Pius students through a program of competitive sports which stresses the concepts of individual conditioning, effort, fundamentals, sportsmanship, teamwork and competition. The Athletic Board
The Athletic Board is appointed by and responsible to the pastor. The board supervises the St. Pius Parish Athletic Program. Terms on the athletic board shall be for at least one year. Terms shall coincide with the academic year, i.e. from August through June. Consultants, who shall be nonvoting members, may be appointed by the chair of the board with the approval of the board.
Policy discussions and policy decisions of the board are a matter of public record. Personnel discussions and personnel decisions of the board are a matter of strict confidentiality.
Concerns may be directed to the chairperson of the Athletic Board and must be presented in writing.
